My "backlit wood-paintings" are made from the common European black pine with extremely high resin concentrate inside. In some 10.000 years this material becomes the well-known amber. These thin cards are lighted from the back, but from the front side the colour of the cards varies from red to yellow in many different ways. The painted areas are made with different techniques, but mainly acrylic paint.
